At times, all I need is some sand under my feet. And a ping pong table and a glass of beer or a coffee at hand. And sunshine. All this you can get at the beach club called "Central Park" at the famous district called "Schanze".
You can hang out in deck chairs and catch sunrays or sit in the shade of the big tree. There is a fire pit and two bars who serve the obvious: drinks and food.
I particularly like it here as I can chill out with my friends from the hood and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. There are even beach chairs available. And food if you are hungry which is quite basic (chips, burger, salad...) but nice. The crowd is mixed with children around during daytime because: who wouldn't want to play in the sand in the middle of the city?!? Ok, well, maybe not during winter time, but it is closed then anyways. So check out their website for infos about opening - as well during summer and autumn (opens at 17h then) if bad weather is about to hit: then they are closed.
