I love side streets and one of the most charming ones in the Schanze area is "Bellealliance Straße". Once I hear this beautiful French sound that enters my ear when I say the street name out loud, I am already closer to France. The good thing is: the street has one of my favourite French bistros in town. It is very cosy, the staff is always charming and friendly and they love art as much as I do.
Apart of these commonalities there is another special one: French food and wine. And: they have it all there. I love cheese and wine and galettes (the salty version of the crêpe) and always have difficulties choosing. My perfect match is a white wine plus a galette with ham and cheese during summer or a nice red wine plus a cheese platter during winter. Check out their Facebook for artsy stuff like concerts that take place there once in a while!
