"Support your local dealer" is a very good motto. Instead of browsing some soulless online shop, go out and buy your stuff in the real world. Well, it is not that easy when it comes to buying quality men's clothes in Hamburg. A number of shops had to close down. Let's blame e-commerce, for now.
So, it is not easy to shop for stylish garments here. Unless, of course, your style is "Sailor", "Bank clerk" or "I don't care". The sweet and cosy 0519 Store (former: CREAM) is one of those few good spots left. And it is located in the more-than-nice streets of St. Georg, with a lot of interesting shops and cafés around the corner.
0519 Store offers a wide variety of hard-to-get sneakers (Adidas, Nike, New Balance, Zespa) and they have a fine list of brands for the gents: Norse Projects, Our Legacy, Wood Wood, Herschel, A kind of Guise or Libertine Libertine. Then there is the whole list of accessories like hats, bags or soap. It is hard to actually NOT find anything to take home. Watch out for instant sales.
The nice folks of 0519 also do have a superb espresso machine and a sweet dog (I love shop dogs). Oh, yeah, they also have a pretty good online shop (!). Damn.
