Redmond's is a great bar just on the edge of Dennistoun that has captured the attention of the locals. Redmond's is relatively 'new' to the area and its fresh new look is very appealing to any age group. The staff really know their drinks and can point you in the direction of something new!
There is a large variety of beers, wines and spirits that are reasonably priced and you can grab some tasty food if you fancy a nibble; the manchego & chickpea croquettes are scrumptious! It can get very warm when it's busy so choose your seat with this in mind! Everyone is very friendly and you can join the pub quiz which is hosted every Wednesday.
Redmond's is a lovely place to meet for a couple of drinks and if you plan on staying for a late night, it does close at 00:00! There are always small events being held in the bar and every second Saturday there is a local DJ who plays an eclectic set of music on vinyl! It has a license for children and it is also dog-friendly! The bar also has a great tradition of changing the beers weekly, which is great for budding beer enthusiasts.
Being that the south side and east end are the most up and coming areas, Redmond’s have expanded you can now find the same chilled out vibe in Phillies! It’s bigger and you will find a wider variety of events such as drag bingo to tickle your fancy!
