Glasgow Wake Park is a must-visit for all wakeboarding fans and not.
Wake Park is located in the city centre at the Clyde and Forth Canal. It's the first Scottish urban wake park. I discovered this activity through my University, they had a wakeboarding society and I started this new hobby during my last year of uni. The park is in one of my favourite areas of the city, and it's my go-to for walks near the canals or just as a chilling spot on weekends to watch some tricks on the water by some of the talented wakeboarders at the park.
The facilities are amazing and I was able to stand up on the board on my first lesson thanks to the amazing instructors.
This is a must-visit for anyone willing to try a new activity while exploring or for any locals like me who love wakeboarding. You can learn to wakeboard for £25 and trust me you are going to love it!
Make sure to book ahead online and info on how to hire the equipment and how to use the facilities in all safety!
