One of my favourite viewpoint in the city centre is on top of this hill, not far from the Glasgow Necropolis. From here you can even see some wind turbines placed on top of the hills surrounding Glasgow!
The picture I took doesn't do justice to the view but on a clear day, you can see so many cool details that make the city so special. I am lucky enough to live on one of the tenements flats running along the hill and this is the view I get every day. My favourite thing to do is to sit by my window watching the sky changing colours through the day, especially at sunset.
Top tip: if you are not as lucky as me but you are visiting the Dennistoun neighbourhood in the East End of Glasgow, make sure to include this street on your route. Stop by (the best spot is on the hill in front of the flats running along the street) and take a moment to sit and enjoy the view. Trust me you'll need to stop, the hill is quite steep and you may run out of breath!
