During one of the many walks, me and my flatmate found an interesting looking park on the map of Glasgow so we decided to go visit. This is how we ended in Cunigar Loop.
Cuningar Loop is a woodland park surrounded by the River Clyde. We were amazed by the number of trees and nature we were able to immerse ourselves in just a short walk (roughly 40 minutes) from the city centre.
This is my new favourite spot in the East End of Glasgow! It has so many cool outdoor activities such as mountain biking, a 3-mile path accessible for everyone and my favourite of all, an outdoor bouldering centre!
Here you'll find many bouldering enthusiasts of all levels trying to improve their bouldering skills. If you are a total beginner there's no problem at all - in fact, there is also a map that will guide you through the rocks (as the ones you can see in the picture) based on your abilities. If you're planning to give it a go, make sure you bring a mat with you in case you fall, or have enough padding.
P.S. All the activities are suitable for both adults and kids. There's also a woodland workout for those who love the gym but don't want to miss out on the good weather (you got to make the most of it while it lasts in Glasgow!).
