There are not many places in Florence where you can listen to live music and NOF, despite being very tiny, is one of them. I go there when I get tired of mainstream music you hear on the radios all the time and I try to "stay in touch" with the sounds of local small bands.
Entrance is free and the club is often replete because of its size, especially on Friday and on Saturday, when you're likely to have a hard time trying to squeeze in, so it might not be a bad idea to visit it on weekdays.
A peculiar feature this club has, is its big shop-style window (it probably used to be a real shop in the past) placed right behind the small stage and that makes the bands very visible from the street while they are playing.
Another good thing is that if you can't manage to get inside, there is another very nice place right in front of it. It's named "la Cité" and they often host music bands, too.
