This is a craft beer lovers idea of heaven. Not only do they have a vast array of craft beer on offer from Scotland and around the world, but they also brew their own small batches on site, in the bar itself. The Hanging Bat has a great buzz at weekends and the bar staff are really helpful and knowledgeable.
If it's quiet enough, I like to take a seat at the bar so I can chat to the staff and the customers a little bit about the beers that they have on offer. The beers that they serve are strong, so I would also recommend the food! The Hanging Bat serves food until late and has a great menu to go with the beers on offer- think racks of ribs and mac n cheese. This is a great place to start a night out and the friendly warm atmosphere will put you in a good mood for the rest of the evening.
