If there is one place you need to stop by immediately after you check into your hotel/motel/airbnb, it's this place! At the beginning of each visit to Chișinău, it is recommended that you go to this place and familiarise yourself with the huge variety of wines from all of the big Moldovan wine players. The prices are very reasonable! Get gifts for yourself, your family and your friends! As much as you can and as much as you will fit in your travel bags.
A good Moldovan bottle of wine can cost anywhere between 3 and 10 euros. An extremely good wine can cost more, but I would not advise that you go beyond 20 euros per bottle.
Some of my favourites are: Rădăcini (Blanc de Cabernet), Novak (Alb de Onițcani), Ministerios (Harap Alb), Ministerios (Chardonnay), F'autor (Tempranillo). If you go with any of these, you won't regret it - and most of these except the Tempranillo are quite cheap. Great price/quality ratio.
If you want to go with something safer, you can also get anything from Purcari. My personal advice is if you are a wine lover and you decide to visit a winery - get the names of the bottles you like and come buy them here. It will be at least 20% cheaper. Enjoy the lovely Moldovan wine!
P.S. Make sure you get the right entrance - the wine shop is underground.
