This recently opened wine bar is now gaining popularity fast between local wine-lovers, and there are several reasons for that. First of all, here you have the largest range of wines “by the glass”, so in one evening you can make up your opinion and choose your favorites, or understand the difference between the Chardonnay wines made in different areas of Moldova.
The second reason is the atmosphere: not only is it centrally located; turns out that the building where the bar is located had the same function in the 19th century -- at exactly this spot, there used to be a wine shop selling local wines in the 1880s. And now you can literally feel the vibe of the centuries while trying the same sort of wine people did here 150 years ago. For me and my friends, Wine.md tasting room is the first option whenever we want to taste some novelties by local winemakers.
Also, you need to know that the people who run this spot have come up with the idea of not only offering a wide range of Moldavian wine, but also sharing the knowledge of Moldavian wine culture and its roots. That is why you can often take part in a degustation created with different objectives: whether it be a full presentation of a new small winery or comparing every specimen of a certain variety, the result will be the same: you will start falling in love with Moldavian wine.
