The last time I visited Smokehouse was yesterday because they have Trivia Night every Tuesday. The trivia was in English and it was a lot of fun. In total, the trivia lasted for about 1.5 - 2 hours and it was played in teams. Each table registered a team. The winning team gets a prize which is usually a beer pitcher or something from the menu. This activity was lots of fun for us even if we did not make it in the top 3.
In general, Smokehouse is a community place with lots of locals and internationals. It is always a fun place to go even if you are alone and wish to join in and meet some new people. They have amazing food (tacos, sandwiches, pulled pork, burritos, nachos with cheese are a must!). Each time, I visited, I was curious to try everything. The waiters are helpful and even if you get a bit lost with all the choices, they take the time to explain things.
Smokehouse is also a beer haven. They have a big blackboard filled with types of mostly local beers. I'd say in total they have more than 50 kinds of beer, of which about half are local brews. Unfortunately, they do not have non-alcoholic beer. Even so, I had a 0.3 glass of their lightest weiss-beer so that it keeps me sharp for the trivia.
I recommend booking a table in advance. Smokehouse is fun.
