Since my favourite cuisine is Asian, I am quite picky when it comes to Asian food. Most Asian food places in Chișinău are ok but not great. After living abroad in places like New York and Amsterdam... and having visited countries like Nepal, I cannot but fall in love with high-quality Asian food. If you are a lover of Tom Yum, rice dumplings, gyoza, spring rolls - Madam Wong is the place to go.
Besides food, the place offers amazing cocktails and desserts. The bartender is very talented and I suggest you go talk to him directly if you are not sure about what beverage would best suit your mood. The place is cozy. The waiters are not very polite, but once you put the first dumpling in your mouth or that very first sip of soup, that won't matter anymore.
My favourites are the Tom Yum, Spinach Soup, Duck Spring Roll, Mini-burgers and the Cucumber Lemonade.
I would go there more often, but the prices are a bit high. Fortunately, they also have lunch discounts. This place is great for a romantic date or a celebration. Enjoy!
