If you are still in doubt whether you like Moldavian wine or not, there is no better place to find it out, than in one of the oldest wine bars – Invino. This spot has been opened by enthusiasts not involved in the wine business, but with a big passion for the wine culture, and a will to share it with everyone.
All the staff here are professional sommeliers and can recommend the best choice depending on your preferences and wishes. Here you will really need their help, as there are no less than 10,000 bottles in permanent storage. No wonder you can often meet local winemakers with a glass of wine here, chatting about a new harvest.
One of the most memorable experiences for me here has been the blind tasting of local Rara Neagra wines -- once, among the wines of well known wineries, there was a sample by a "garage" winemaker, who even had no label for his wine, but his "Rara Neagra" won the sympathy of all participants. He deserves the admiration of all wine enthusiasts and now sells his wines for the highest price.
Also, all degustations held here have an unusual touch -- it can be wine-pairing with different cuisines, or the search for a perfect combination of wine and chocolate, or even “wine painting”. So even a sophisticated wine lover will find it interesting.
