Croissant is not the first thing that comes to mind when you think about Chisinau, but if you can’t imagine your breakfast without one, then Folk’s is your place. The whole concept of the café is built around croissants in all possible ways. First of all, they bake fresh ones every few hours, and they are really good, but the main thing is the filling – here you can choose from over 20 varieties, whether it be grilled chicken, salmon or classic banana chocolate. My usual choice is "Amsterdam" - with ham and cheese, my wife likes it with salmon, while the chocolate one is never betrayed by my kid.
The best way to enjoy your croissant is by combining it with a cup of coffee, which also is remarkable here. Also, it is a good option for early birds, as its opening time is at eight in the morning, which is rare in Chisinau. Not so long ago, the guys from Folk’s extended the menu, adding not only croissants but also full breakfasts and salads, while keeping the cozy interior and atmosphere.
