I still remember the unique meal I had last time on the Nile Crystal cruiser.
Nile Crystal offers a supper meal every day and two meals during the Ramadan month -- Iftar around 6:30PM and Sohor around 1:30AM.
They usually offer international food in supper and oriental food in Ramadan and they are all open buffet meals.
The food was not as big a deal to me as the whole experience was. The cruiser took me for a two-hour trip on the River Nile. I had the meal on the bottom deck where I enjoyed the food and the view of the Rive Nile's water through the windows. After the meal, I had my hot Egyptian tea in the upper deck (bow) of the ship.
The Nile Crystal cruiser has good oriental music -composed by a member of their staff- playing in the background, and a Tanora show in the bottom deck during and after the meals.
The only think I disliked about the place was how crowded it was for the Iftar meal.
