In the most complex and most interesting district of Budapest, there is a small place. It is named after something used in traditional Hungarian wineries. It is a ‘vintage’ place in a very old building, where modern and new and old and rotten meet. You will find a married couple there, Kata and Imre. They've created the place, and they make what they really like. You will drink their favorite wines and beers there and eat their Hungarian dishes with a small twist.
This place is contemporary yet so old-school. It can show you why I love my city. On Wednesdays and Fridays you can listen to piano. You cannot drink a whiskey coke there but very good Hungarian wines and beers. And if you can’t choose, they will probably help you.
