Besides the fact that Primus is very well located, it also offers an unforgettable atmosphere. It is a place where many foreigners hang out and this gives it an international atmosphere.
Two friends of mine were having a glass of wine when a middle aged man came to their table. Without question he sat down telling the waitress that everything is on him. At first, they started making fun of the nosy man; they were pretty surprised to find out later that he was Brian Cook, second unit director for 'The Shining' & more...
Many movies are made in Romania. Hence, many people from the movie industry can be seen in Bucharest.
Coming back to Primus, they are proud of the beer they have and I truly recommend the beef with mushrooms and broccoli, it's only 45 lei. If you're up for something light, try the crispy salad which is great for 22 lei.
Primus is located next to Terminus and these two go hand in hand as the second one is a very well known club. Both are owned by the same company. At Primus, in the past you could find 'Muratura' (Pickle), a jack russell terrier. He was owned by the bar and extremely friendly. These days 'Primus' is still dog friendly.
