Energiea is one of the coolest places in the city. It is a former Print Shop from the beginning of the 20th century, transformed into a very nice restaurant which I love equally for the dishes they have and for the atmosphere. A very important aspect is that they let me go in with "Terry", who is a wonderful Yorkshire Terrier.
The location is great for anyone who's strolling around the city center. Energiea is only a two minute walking distance from the crowded old city center.
I recommend something simple and tasty, the homemade burger. It is only 36 lei and it is enough to settle the hunger for most of us. I always ask for some extra ketchup. If you're up for a snack, get the chips with sauce and pickles/salad - for only 17 lei.
For me it is funny when I see people going to the toilet not knowing where to enter. Well, the way they chose the pictograms to differentiate men from women might be a little difficult for some of us to understand; trust me, men go to the right.
Call in advance to make sure they have free tables. Keep in mind that bookings are taken only from frequent clients so you won't be able to make one. Still, you can ask if there are free tables. (They speak English.)
Enjoy Energiea!
