If you want to give your weekend brunch an Asian twist, then you must pay a visit to Kafei. Located in Chatelaine, just a few steps away from Avenue Louise, Kafei is an Asian café offering a great selection of plates for breakfast, lunch, and well… Brunch! From the most famous avocado toast and acai bowl to different versions of toasts with Benedict eggs with an Asian influence. However, the star of the menu are the homemade fluffy pancakes, which come in different flavors, including a tiramisu and matcha version. An explosion of flavors that, thanks to the light texture of the pancake, just melts in your mouth. Once I tried them, I finally understood why you need to book plenty in advance for a table!
Just in case you don’t know what to pick and are ready to embrace a full brunch experience, Kafei offers a formula called brunch menu that allows you to combine a lunch dish with a portion of pancakes, together with a hot drink and apple juice. Just be prepared for a strong food coma later… but totally worth it.
