Sun or rain, heatwave or a cold cosy evening, Glacier Zizi always has a line of bright-eyed customers waiting for their delicious scoop of ice cream, their speciality. You can decide to sit down on their terrace in summer or inside the awfully lit cafe in winter, or you can take your ice cream and stroll through Vanderkindere Street on your way to some shopping at the Chaussée d'Alsemberg.
If you're not much of an ice cream lover, Glacier Zizi in Uccle will satisfy your tastebuds with some waffles, crêpes or smoothies made with love. Everyone in Brussels knows about this place, even though it's a little out of the route for most, but definitely worth the detour! It is easily reached with the 3, 4 and 92 trams that take you to the centre in less than 20 minutes. Once in the neighbourhood, you can also explore a more residential side of Brussels with as many Art Nouveau houses and grand boulevards as the city's north.
