Entre Nous was created by Sara who came from Naples to Brussels. She created "Entre Nous" which means "between us". This place comes from the principle of maintaining a sustainable food supply. She wanted to create a place where people can feel at home and enjoy locally produced food but with an Italian, Napolitano twist.
The restaurant is part of a circular economy approach, which means they will first look for products in Brussels, then the rest of Belgium and if necessary the rest of Europe.
Entre Nous is located near the Gare du midi which is the biggest station of Brussels handling international rail traffic (Eurostar and Thalys). It's not the cleanest area of Brussels but if you arrive by train and you're looking for a quick lunch, this is the perfect place.
The restaurant has a daily menu that's changing all the time. You can also buy food here and join tastings, workshops and much more. My favorite is their pasta salsiccia e broccoli, the pasta is fresh and the sauce is delicious.
This is more than just a grocery and restaurant. This is a place to meet people who believe in a local economy — it's a place to connect with local suppliers and neighbours.
