Rio Grande Restaurant, Night Bar & Café is a restaurant and club in one. The restaurant is upstairs and the club is downstairs so you won't be disturbed by loud music while enjoying your dinner.
The place is located in the city center at Hviezdoslavovo Namestie close to the National Theater. Every time I'm at Rio I order my favorite chocolate fondant served with vanilla cream and chopped strawberries on the side. I have had many chocolate fondants at many different places, including a homemade one I made myself, but the one at Rio is absolutely phenomenal!
Apart from that, you can choose from a variety of main dishes - fish, meat and salads. The menu has all kinds of food like beef, codfish, octopus carpaccio, salmon, tuna or beef tartare, soups, starters, Brazilian traditional dishes, steaks, salads etc.
As Rio Grande restaurant is also a night club, there is quite an impressive selection of drinks like cocktails, homemade lemonades or liqueurs.
