April Bar is one of those places that usually get overlooked by people hurrying to get to nearby katanas in Skadarlija or one of the many bars on Cetinjska Street. Located quite literally between these two popular streets, I was really pleasantly surprised when I first stepped into April Bar's beautiful garden.
Citing itself as one of the first non-smoking bars in Belgrade, April Bar offers a cozy, chill garden in the Summer, when you can sip on a cocktail or a glass of Prosecco surrounded by a young and relaxed crowd or a retreat in its non-smoking interior part in the Winter. Whichever you choose, you'll be greeted by friendly staff, a great cocktail menu and good music.
I have a lot of places in Belgrade I like to hang out at, but nights out at April Bar really hit differently: There's just something about sitting underneath one of the trees filled with fairy lights in its beautiful garden and catching up with friends. The crowd is always friendly, and the staff is attentive. This is just one of those places you keep coming back to, for good reason.
