Okay, maybe I have to be a bit subjective about this, but I must say that Amigo pancakes are the best. It's subjective because my high school is nearby so I've spent 4 years eating there.
If you are wondering how they came up with the name Amigo when the place has nothing to do with Mexico, it's because of the owner - Zoki. He's really a friend - amigo. He is always so welcoming, positive and communicative. You just have to love him. The pancakes are just a bonus.
Let's say a few words about them. Lately, it became popular to put tons of things on your pancakes, like chocolate bars & other sweets. If you, like me, are not a lover of that kind of pancakes, you will surely love Amigo, because they serve them in a classical way.
Here you can also try the domestic Serbian chocolate cream that's different from Nutella and the famous Serbian cookie Plazma. Sure, you can find Plazma in every other pancake shop, but an interesting thing they make here is Plazma in milk, which is delicious.
Also, you can get a Snickers pancake, though not with an actual Snickers bar, but with caramel, chocolate and peanuts.
If you love pancakes with fruit like cherries or banana, you will get real fruit, not jams or anything else. Every single one is delicious.
So if you're wandering around, you can stop by and say "Hi" to Zoki and I'm sure he will welcome you as his amigo.
