One of those restaurants that you should not miss when visiting Barcelona. Created by a young and talented coupe, Fishology has everything it takes to become an emblematic spot in town.
Riccardo in the main preparation of the plates, Giulia as a sommelier, vermouths especially, mineral and salted sensorial wines, providing great service and explanations on the tables, as well as a very educated and trained team with them... They make cool things with cured fish, including exposing different textures and encounters of flavors with sea and water-oriented ingredients.
We had the chance to taste their 7-plate course menu paired with vermouths - all of them (plates and vermouths) incredibly well done and tasty. From a table of fish sausages (yes, exactly) to a tuna fish cheek that had the exact same texture as cow meat - it was a blast.
We had heard of some good things about the spot before, but going there and having the experience yourself is something I would really recommend!
