Let me describe you a situation that many people in Antwerp have encountered:
It's a summer's day. You spend the whole day outside at the banks of the Schelde River to enjoy the sun until you decide you're in desperate need of refreshment. You know the perfect place to go! You head out to Kloosterstraat and find Milad's Ice Cream Store, but your jaw drops in disappointment. The queue in front goes on forever. Still, you decide that it's worth it and you stand at the end of the line. After some minutes of mouth-watered waiting your patience is rewarded: you get a cone with 'Saffron-Rosewater' + 'Tahini- Straciatella' ice cream and it's one of the best things you've ever tasted.
I don't think I need to say much more than this about Milad, to convince you to go there. Though the queues can be quite long, the fact that people are willing to wait just shows how good this place is! We all love Italian Gelato of course, but middle eastern flavors with lots of rosewater, pistachio, and saffron are a great way to mix up the ice cream game!

A classic is the pizza Calabrese with spicy salami, paprika, tomato, and mozzarella. Ask for some grilled onions on top to make it even tastier (you can thank me later).
