This pub is just what you would expect from an ideal pub. It has great drinks and food, located on a square that is in the city centre yet suprisingly quiet, has live music and organises brunches.
I haven't been going here that often yet, but getting a closer look at it made me fall in love with it way more. Everytime I walked inside the bartender was so kind and the interior just looks stunning, the positivity I see radiates throughout the picture. I went there for the first time with my girlfriend. We ordered some coffee, and to our surprise, they did not add extra costs when my girlfriend wanted it with oat milk. This small specific thing is why I kept remembering this spot because, in so many pubs or restaurants, this little thing costs 50 cents to a full extra euro! When I reminded the bartender of our pleasant experience, he also shook his head, nodding that it was incomprehensible to charge for this.
The bar also offers a few good meals, including stoofvlees (very Flemish!) and quite a variety of snacks. Every Sunday, they offer a Brunch that is mostly homemade! And to top it all off, they organize live music concerts with Belgian artists every Sunday! Music — Het Beestenbos
All I can say is, definitely give it a go! Their website and Facebook offer information in English about when and where new dishes and music are available.

A classic is the pizza Calabrese with spicy salami, paprika, tomato, and mozzarella. Ask for some grilled onions on top to make it even tastier (you can thank me later).
