I came across Bar Parry in Amsterdam while cycling on this small street in the Jordaan neighborhood. What caught my attention at first were the small outdoor tables and candles visible through the front window. It is so charming!
Then, I discovered it’s a wine bar in the Jordaan neighborhood. Here, you can enjoy a charcuterie platter or small dishes and get wine by the glass from an extremely large selection which Bar Parry usually gets through a famous wine shop called Wijnwinkel located on the famous 9 streets. What a blast if you are a wine lover and simply want to try a variety of wines!
Another cool part about it? Bar Parry doesn’t require a reservation, and it is walk-in only, which is amazing if you are visiting Amsterdam. The only time you have to make one is if you plan to enjoy their lunch menu on Sundays. Check out their website for further details.
To combine this within your day, you can get lost in the Antiekcentrum, which is a few minutes away on foot and is ideal for a rainy day.
