The Fattoria is a 200-year-old farm and vineyard in Italy specialized in natural, biological, ecological production of typical Italian food. They manufacture wine, cheese, olive oil, pasta and home-made sauces, biscuits and honey. Their products are not available in any shops, only here at the "Speisekammer" (pantry).
Here they generously let you sample their products. You can taste wines and they'll even cook whole pasta dishes with the offered sauces as a meal in their open kitchen for you at the cost of the ingredients in store.
The "Speisekammer" is something like a factory outlet and you require a wooden keycard made of olive wood which is the entry key to this hidden Garden Eden. As they consider themselves a wholesaler, you need to register to get the key (can easily be done on their website) and you can only purchase goods in bundled lots of 4 and more. But they are liberal, first in issuing the key and second when it comes to buying the lots: you can simply pack a "present basket" with single items you choose and hence bypass the minimum purchase numbers.
The pasta, the wine and the biscuits are lovely and the quality is excellent. I specifically love their Vin Santo which is truly "holy" or "blessed" as it would translate into English - it's saintly!
Just to make sure: the fact that it's an outlet or wholesaler doesn't make the Fattoria a cheap or a bargain shop, indeed goods are quite costly, but worth the price.
